Non-contact and highly dynamic speed measurement in the manufacture of standard test specimens or in production tools
This application enables highly accurate measurements of the flow velocity of the plastic melt to ensure that the test specimens comply with the standard or to compare real velocity values with simulation results. No physical contact is required, which prevents unwanted component imprints, leaks or sensor damage from occurring in the first place.
Recognizing batch fluctuations during recyclate processing in the injection mold
With this measurement, fluctuations in the quality and viscosity of recycled material can be detected early on in the injection mold. This in turn enables appropriate countermeasures to be taken, ensuring consistently high product quality. Characteristic values such as flow rate, crystallization and shrinkage are included in the assessment.
Measurement of the time of shrinkage in the injection mold to determine shrinkage properties

Non-contact flow front detection for controlling cascade molds or PUR flooding processes
With switching times of less than 5 ms, it is the most precise and easiest way to control cascade molds and polyurethane flow processes (PUR-RIM). This enables optimum monitoring of the flow front in various production processes, resulting in improved process stabilization and scrap reduction.
