Ultrasonic measurement technology for other plastics processing applications

Determine cooling time based on part condition
Ultrasonic sensors monitor the plastic's shrinkage behavior in the mold. This allows the cooling time to be determined based on a physical event—rather than solely on a predetermined time.
flow front Detect in the mold
Ultrasonic sensors detect, without physical contact, when the molten plastic reaches defined positions in the mold . This allows, for example, the cascade control system to be regulated based on actual flow front events.
Monitor Curing and Cross-linking
Ultrasound makes the changes in the material during cross-linking visible. This provides information about the required heating time and the influence of process parameters.
