If you contact us by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
  2. Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.

When disabling cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that stores Internet settings. Almost every website uses cookie technology. It is downloaded by your Internet browser the first time you visit a website. The next time you visit that website with the same terminal device, the cookie and the information stored in it is either sent back to the website that generated it (first party cookie) or sent to another website to which it belongs (third party cookie). As a result, the website recognizes that you have been visited before with this browser and, in some cases, varies the content displayed. Some cookies are extremely useful, as they can improve the user experience when you return to a website that you have already visited several times. Provided that you use the same terminal and the same browser as before, cookies remember, for example, your preferences, share how you use a page, and adapt the offers displayed more relevant to your personal interests and needs.

The benefits of cookies
Some cookies are extremely useful because they can improve the user experience when you return to a website that you have already visited several times. Provided that you use the same terminal and browser as before, cookies remember, for example, your preferences, tell us how you use our pages and adapt the content displayed more relevant to your personal interests and needs.

Manage and delete cookies
If you want to block or delete cookies, you can make these changes in the browser settings. To manage cookies, most browsers allow you to accept or reject all cookies or accept only certain types of cookies. You can also set it to ask you each time a website wants to store a cookie. The procedures for managing and deleting cookies vary depending on which browser you use. To find out how to do this in a particular browser, you can use the browser's built-in help function or, alternatively, visit www.aboutcookies.org. Here is a step-by-step explanation of how to manage and delete cookies in most popular browsers.

The cookie settings on this website are set to "Allow cookies" to provide the best browsing experience. If you use this website without changing the cookie settings or click "OK", you agree to this.

  1. Web analysis
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Inc. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enables an analysis of the use of the website by your users. The information thus generated is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.

You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored.

Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymized. This means that only a rough localization is possible.

The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on standard contractual clauses/an adequacy decision of the European Commission. Since Google follows the certification requirements of the new EU-US Privacy Shield, according to the notice paper, the company has also met the legal requirements for the adequacy of the level of data protection pursuant to Section 4 b of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) also for the provision of the Google Analytics service by way of commissioned processing.

The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO.

Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized.

  1. Google Analytics
If you have given your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. The responsible entity for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

Scope of processing
Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of our websites. The information collected by means of the cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We use the User ID feature. User ID allows us to assign a unique, persistent ID to one or more sessions (and the activities within those sessions) and analyze user behavior across devices.

We use Google Signals. This captures additional information in Google Analytics about users who have activated personalized ads (interests and demographics) and ads can be delivered to these users in cross-device remarketing campaigns.

In Google Analytics 4, the anonymization of IP addresses is activated by default. Due to IP anonymization, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
During your website visit, your user behavior is recorded in the form of "events". Events can be:

  • Page views
  • First visit to the website
  • Session start
  • Your "click path", interaction with the website
  • Scrolls (whenever a user scrolls to the end of the page (90%))
  • Clicks on external links
  • internal queries
  • Interaction with videos
  • File downloads
  • Ads seen / clicked
  • Language setting

Also recorded:

  • Your approximate location (region)
  • Your IP address (in shortened form)
  • technical information about your browser and the end devices you use (e.g. language setting, screen resolution)
  • Your Internet provider
  • the referrer URL (via which website/advertising medium you came to this website)

Purposes of processing
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, and compiling reports on website activity. The reports provided by Google Analytics are used to analyze the performance of our website and the success of our marketing campaigns.

Recipient
Recipients of the data are/could be

  • Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (as processor according to Art. 28 DSGVO)
  • Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
  • Alphabet Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA

It cannot be ruled out that U.S. authorities will access the data stored by Google.

Third country transfer
If data is processed outside the EU/EEA and there is no level of data protection corresponding to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contractual clauses with the service provider to establish an appropriate level of data protection. The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, is based in California, USA. A transfer of data to the USA and access by US authorities to the data stored by Google cannot be ruled out. The USA is currently considered a third country from a data protection perspective. You do not have the same rights there as within the EU/EEA. You may not be entitled to any legal remedies against access by authorities.

Storage period
The data sent by us and linked to cookies are automatically deleted after 14 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once a month.

Legal basis
The legal basis for this data processing is your consent pursuant to Art.6 para.1 p.1 lit.a DSGVO.

Revocation
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by changing the cookie settings (Cookie Notice) and change your selection there. The lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation remains unaffected.

You can also prevent the storage of cookies from the outset by configuring your browser software accordingly. However, if you configure your browser to reject all cookies, this may restrict functionalities on this and other websites. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google, by selecting

  1. not give your consent to the cookie setting or
    b. download and install the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics HERE.
